These podcasts are the result of the Get Caught Up in the Drama! Diversity Fellowship, a project to foster dialogue about diversity in Hawaiʻi between students at Kapiʻolani Community College and Kaimukī High School. Thanks to a grant from the University of Hawaiʻi Office of Student Equity, Excellence and Diversity (SEED), students are watching plays at Kumu Kahua Theater during the 2019-20 season and meeting for about an hour once a week to share their insights about diversity in a public forum. Other students are listening to the podcasts (sometimes as class assignments) and adding their own insights in the comment boxes at the bottom of each page. No matter how you came across these conversations, we encourage you to join in! Note that this page includes introductory conversations about the project and links to podcasts on each play.
